Waste Engine Oil to Diesel Plant
A waste engine oil to diesel plant processes suitable used engine and lubricating oils to recover a diesel-range fraction. It is not a base oil re-refining line, and the recovered liquid is not automatically road diesel. Feed analysis, distillation cut points, finishing steps and final fuel tests determine the appropriate product definition and permitted use.
Feed Pretreatment and Distillation
A project may include receiving and segregation, settling or filtration, dehydration, light-end removal, controlled atmospheric or vacuum distillation, condensation and optional product finishing. Water, antifreeze, solvents, chlorine, solids, metals and degraded additives affect equipment configuration, corrosion controls, product quality and residue handling.
Project Data and Product Verification
Provide representative samples and results for water, solids, density, viscosity, flash point, distillation range, sulfur, chlorine, ash, carbon residue and metals, plus daily feed availability, operating hours, site utilities and the intended fuel application. Capacity, yield and finished-product quality should be defined by feed testing, a documented mass balance, agreed test methods and acceptance criteria.
